Check out one of my little clients, all grown up already! I was fortunate to photograph him when he was still in his momma’s belly. I have worked with this family 5 times now I think? It is a sign of a great photographer-client relationship when you work together so often that you lose count. ;) I just love my repeat clients and I enjoy watching all the milestones they hit as they grow over the year. Baby H is now a year old! These Houston clients travelled up to The Woodlands to go to one of my favorite parks. It is a great area for toddlers to explore and has so many options!
Check out some of his other sessions! Click to view the Maternity, Newborn, and Family sessions. It seems I did not blog his 9 month pictures, I will have to get on that because they were just as adorable. Here are some of my favorite images from his one year session. If you would like Houston baby pictures, give me a ring or send me an email and I would love to get you set up!
Aaaand a whole bunch more images that I could’t narrow down to post.
He is just such a happy baby!!!

It has been a few months since I have participated in our group’s 10 on 10 blog circle. And, like a very busy bad mom, I haven’t taken many lifestyle images of my kids lately! Instead, here are 10 images from baby L’s Woodlands baby portraits session last weekend. I needed to blog this session anyway so this is kind of cheating by killing 2 birds with one stone. She is 10 months old and is just a doll! I love this age.
Please also follow the link below the images to see the next photographer in the blog circle! Hope you have as much fun with this project as I do!
Those blue eyes are going to get daddy in trouble one day!
Now go check out Seeley Casey Photography to continue the circle! I promise, you’ll love her work!

Don’t miss the Woodlands baby pictures on the blog today! How sweet is this little 6 month old? I have had a lot of newborns lately and sometimes it is fun to play with older babies! It is a much different experience and process for sure! This is such a great age for baby pictures! They are usually so expressive and once they can sit up, you can get a variety of poses from them. And, they’re not quite old enough to RUN away from me yet so we often get a lot of images from a 6 month session. I had a great time playing with baby V. Here are just a few from her session.
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed photographing them! Let me know what you think!
Isn’t this dress just the cutest! Those dark eyes were stunning and so much fun to photograph!
Do you need Woodlands Baby Pictures? We’d be honored to work with you! Shoot us an email and tell us about your little one! We’d love to customize a session just for you and document this special time in your child’s life!
I photographed this little girl for the 4th time in the past year, and this time her whole family joined in! Her big brother is so handsome and the most polite gentleman I have met! I can only hope my own children will be so respectful when the are older. Eva was my most well behaved newborn I have had at her session one year ago, you can see them HERE. I also took her pictures at 3 months and 6 months old. I love when clients take advantage of the discounts for the baby plan! It is so fun to see these little ones change!
We also took a couple of indoor shots of her in the same bowl we used for her newborn and 6 month photos. My how she has grown! What a cutie!!!
Spring TX Baby Portraits
This is the third time I have had the privilege of working with these clients. I can’t tell you how much it means to me when people come back to me and I get to see their families grow! Another thing I love is when families love the images enough to blow them up BIG on their walls. And I am not talking 11×14 big. I am talking 20×30 canvases big! For this session we went to a lake near their house but then we took a few in their home as well. They have so many huge canvases of pictures from my past sessions with them. They were nice enough to show me all the rooms where the pictures were displayed. I hope they love these images just as much! I love the colors they are wearing, but of course purple IS my favorite color.
This pretty girl was so sweet and had the cutest expressions, I just wanted to keep her! I love the look of this first set of images. The overall feel of the pictures depends on a lot of factors and each one is different. I know a lot of photographers prefer to make all their sessions look similar and that is definitely important for consistency so clients know what to expect. Some even prefer to only photograph subjects dressed according to the style they want to photograph. However, clients have unique needs and there are going to be some differences between sessions. The final result will depend on the client’s choice of outfits, the weather, the time of day, the location, family size and dynamic, and how the files are processed during editing. Images of a family dressed in bright colors in a field during the evening sunset are going to look different than say, images taken when it is cloudy out and the family is wearing lighter colors. Both can have fantastic results while having a different overall feel. I strive for consistency while also taking into account all of these elements when I am editing. I also like to ask a client what they will be wearing so that we can plan on a location and time that will complement the look they are going for. Even still, the weather can turn it into something quite different! For this session the baby was wearing pastel colors during sunset. I love the blue and yellow contrast in these.
How adorable is this outfit?!
Remember when I said I loved these pictures so much I was going to make two posts out of them? Well here is part 2. I love the colors that the family is wearing and how great they look in the evening sunlight.
These are only, oh, 3 months late! Bowen is actually 15 months old now! He took his time walking but wasn’t slow to climb, and now he climbs everything! I pull him off our kitchen table about 30 times a day, and a couple weeks ago I found him on top of our piano! We have to be a lot more thorough with the child proofing with this one.
I was so busy around the time he turned one that I didn’t really get to plan anything special for his one year pictures, but I am liking less props with my own kids these days anyway. I just did a quick session in Old Town Spring, but we also did bluebonnets when he was a year and I am definitely not short on great pictures of him.
She wasn’t so sure about me at first but she warmed up and I love ALL of the images from her session! I love them so much that I am going to divide them into two posts. These are just the cake smash pictures we took at the end. Isn’t she just a doll? Her mom made this divine cake and also brought the high chair, although I am not giving up hope that she will sell it to me someday! :) Luckily they had her 1st birthday party the weekend before her portrait session so baby C new what to do with that cake!
