I did little K’s newborn pictures too and it is so fun to watch little clients grow!!! This was one of those rare sessions where everything that could go wrong DID go wrong. The chance of rain was high but the weather seemed to be holding. We were going to do a few family shots in addition to the one year portraits and the whole family of five was already dressed and ready. I know from experience that this is not easy so I wanted to make it work! We made a last minute location change to a place with a covered pavilion just in case. This was a good move because right as we arrived it started pouring! There was a girl scout troop there also so we had children running amuck all around us, throwing balls around and such, which is way more distraction that I like to work with. And it was DARK from the storm clouds! Luckily we still got some fantastic shots in the short time we could tolerate being there. I am so appreciative to this family for making the effort and enduring all of that! Here are just a few favorites.

This mom wanted something a little different for her family portraits, so we went to an area behind a parking garage with some fun colors and cool meters. Her kids super funny and silly and had a blast cartwheeling down the alley way! I can tell they are a very fun, happy family. The little girl loved posing for the camera, a model in the making!
This little cutie turned one so it was a great time to get pictures of her and her family! She is seriously so adorable and I just loved her hair. She is going to be a big sister soon! Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
The Texas bluebonnets present one of my favorite photo opportunities of the year. Not only are the flowers beautiful, but the weather is usually great as well. I will be offering bluebonnet mini sessions on Sunday, March 27th in both the morning and evening. This is a great time to get inexpensive portraits! The full resolution CD is only an additional $100!!!
Each person over 4 is an additional $10. There is no minimum order requirement for these sessions.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a time slot! I will invoice for the session fees 2 weeks before the session date. These are the times I currently have left:

Here is another favorite session from before Christmas. We did a combination of family Christmas pictures and an outdoor cake smash for Karsyn’s first birthday. She was so happy in every single picture, except the last one. It was ffffffrreeeeezing and Karsyn said she was DONE! I think we were all done too! But we got so many good shots of her and her parents.
I think it’s about time for a blog update! My last post was in November, and I think that was actually a session from OCTOBER!!! I got really busy with sessions through the holidays so I had to let the blog go for a while. I did post quite a bit on Facebook though. I was lucky to have so many amazing clients and quite a few referrals. My business relies heavily on word of mouth from satisfied clients, so referrals are always a compliment and much appreciated! I am so blessed!
There will be a few changes coming soon. There is a new referral program in the works, as well as new print prices and packages (I promise it won’t be too bad)! I will also be offering an awesome new line of frames. They are trendy, customizable, and reasonably priced. I am about to decorate my living room with them and I can’t wait to get them in!
Okay, now on with the pictures! I can’t get through all the sessions, so I will just pick a few and add them over the next week or two. Here is the first one. I must admit that I was scared when this momma told me she had a 22-month-old and TWIN 9-month-old boys. Yes, that would be 3 kiddos under 2! But they were so calm and easy going, they made my job a breeze! We went to the beautiful Mercer Arboretum for their Christmas pictures. Here are a few from their session.
Could they be ANY cuter?!
This little guy was the sweetest ever!! And he liked me! That’s always a good thing. As long as they like me from far enough away so I can take their picture!!! I love all the images of this family.
The little girl in these pictures happens to go to preschool with my daughter, and she is so full of energy! They were such a fun family. I really love evening shoots, not just because I am NOT a morning person (hint, ha ha), but the lighting is just so beautiful!
